Technical Question
Q: What are the reasons for the water ripple generated by optical bonding capacitive touch screen module?
A: Generally, we recommend that the optical bonding display panel material should use IPS. If it is TN panel, it will produce water ripple. Only when the product housing structure and capacitive screen structure are designed completely in accordance with our requirements, this issue will be avoided. However if it is IPS panel, the water ripple is generally generated mainly because the backlight portion of the display screen is partially squeezed from the case, so it is necessary to confirm the design requirements with our technicians during structural design;
Q: What are the reasons for the air-bonded capacitive screen module to generate Newton's rings? How to solve the problem?
A: The reason for air bonding screen module generating Newton's ring is that the surface of capacitive touch screen and the LCD screen are not parallel enough, and the issue is generally caused by the collapse when the capacitive touch screen being pressed.
To improve this situation what we need do is:
first, increase the TP intensity
second, increase the gap between TP and LCM.
Third: to use anti-Newton ring polarizer or the anti-Newton ring TP;
