PolyIC & Nanomade Co-develop World's First Transparent Capacitive Touch + Force Integrated Film

German printed electronics giant PolyIC and French sensor enterprise Nanomade jointly released the world's first fully transparent flexible film integrating capacitive touch and pressure sensing at Touch Taiwan 2026 on March 31, rewriting the structural design logic of traditional capacitive touch screens.

Ordinary capacitive touch panels can only judge touch coordinates, lacking pressure perception. Vehicle touch screens, smart home control panels and retail interactive screens all need extra pressure sensor layers, leading to thicker stacking layers, lower light transmittance and higher assembly difficulty. This joint transparent film adopts printed transparent conductive electrodes for capacitive sensing, matched with nanoparticle transparent

pressure ink, realizing position detection and pressure identification on the same layer of film.

The material maintains 88% light transmittance, supports curved and flexible screen lamination, and can be applied to hidden car interior touch panels, transparent cabinet touch switches and large commercial interactive capacitive touch tables. The two companies stated that the material has realized mass production feasibility and will supply European and Korean automotive touch screen manufacturers in Q4 2026.

Industry insiders commented that the integrated transparent capacitive touch-pressure film will reduce the overall thickness of touch modules by more than 30%, and is expected to become the mainstream upgrade direction of mid-to-high-end capacitive touch screens in the automotive and smart retail industries within three years.
