The concept of Multi-Touch:

The early touch screens have not yet applied multi-touch technology. The screen can only judge one touch point at a time, which means that we can only use one finger to operate. If the screen has more than two points touched at the same time, it will not be able to respond correctly.

For example, the ATMs that we often use in our lives use screens that only recognize single-point controls.

However, after incorporating multi-touch technology, the response of the screen to the task will be decomposed into two aspects: one is to simultaneously collect the signals generated by the multi-touch, and the other is to judge the meaning of each signal and make a correct analysis and The reaction realizes that the screen recognizes the clicks and touch actions of the five fingers of the person at the same time.


Multi-Touch structure and core technology:

The mainstream mobile phone screens we use now support multi-touch. Its principle is to add a transparent touchpad to the top of the LCD panel. This touchpad is used to detect different positions and simultaneously. Multi-touch is generated and the signal generated by each point is identified. The core of multi-touch technology is FTIR (Frustrated Total Internal Reflection), which is the suppressed internal total reflection technology.
