Q3: What are the reasons for the water ripple generated by optical bonding capacitive touch screen module?
Generally, we recommend that the optical bonding display panel material should use IPS. If it is TN panel, it will produce water ripple. Only when the product housing structure and capacitive screen structure are designed completely in accordance with our requirements, this issue will be avoided. However if it is IPS panel, the water ripple is generally generated mainly because the backlight portion of the display screen is partially squeezed from the case, so it is necessary to confirm the design requirements with our technicians during structural design.
