How To Connect Touch Panel LCD To Raspberry Pi

There are several mature project cases we've completed. The optimal approach is to connect the touch screen directly to the Raspberry Pi or the Orange Pi via the USB interface. Meanwhile, the display can be connected directly through the HDMI interface. In this manner, the entire solution can be realized in a plug-and-play fashion.

When it comes to touch screens, large-sized ones are usually designed with a USB interface directly, while small-sized ones are generally designed with an IIC interface. In such situations, what we'll do is to supply a board that can convert the IIC interface into a USB interface. However, it's necessary for customers to get in touch with our technicians to verify the configuration and the software system.

Regarding the display, we're capable of offering various driver boards, such as RGB to HDMI, LVDS to HDMI, MPI to HDMI, and EDP to HDMI driver boards. These can help achieve the connection with the Raspberry Pi and the Orange Pi.

Here's a video demonstrating the connection of an 8-inch 800x600 PCAP lcd touch screen module to the Raspberry Pi.
