Technical Questions 


Q: According to the investigation, you company have done a lot of actual cases of pure industrial applications. Can you give some design suggestions to our customers in the industrial application field? 

A: The environment of industrial application will be relatively complex, such as the interference of power grid environment and servo motor, so the anti-jamming performance of touch IC itself must be considered when choosing capacitive touch screen solution in the early stage, otherwise, in the actual batch application, there will be a variety of errors like, touchscreen chaotic jump, or wrong touch. We must pay attention to the design of protection circuit in the process of motherboard design. If possible, the shell, touch screen and the motherboard should finally connect to one GND. Of course, we will also consider the anti-interference design solution in the design process of the touch sensor and FPC. For specific details, you can communicate with our professional technicians according to the actual case. 

Q: There are some projects that require the working temperature range of the capacitive screen module to reach very wide, such as - 45 to + 90. Do you have any experience and suggestions for this kind of work? 

A: If the wide temperature requirement of the module is more stringent, it needs to be analyzed from two aspects: first, if the capacitive touch screen needs to reach this temperature level, the ordinary sensor production technology can’t succeed, and we needs to take special ways to route the sensor, which can be specifically discussed with our technicians; Second, if the display screen needs to reach this temperature level, for the small size, we needs to use OLED (AMOLED) material, for the large size, we needs to heat and radiate the display screen, the specific details can be confirmed with our technician.
